Welcome to Fallyn's Dad's blog telling her story and about her progress. As of now, Fallyn has started treatment... the countdown to Day "0" (bone marrow transplant day) has finished and Fallyn is now in the +'s (days after the transplant).  Thank you all for your continued support and prayers.

Word from University of Minnesota (5/9)

We talked with Dr. Wagner (from the University of Minnesota) yesterday and he provided a lot of background on the transplant trial and some information on the progress of individual patients. So far, 5 children have gone through the process... the first has progressed exceptionally well and Hannah (currently out in Minnesota now) appears on track do very well.

Eye Surgery (4/15)

We (Fallyn, Aunt Janet and I) arrived bright and early (6:00 a.m.) yesterday morning at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital. Fallyn was going in for her 5th surgery in her young life... Somehow she got a boo-boo on her eye and on the inside of her lower eyelid. Much like fingers fusing together, they healed/fused together... and the healing/scaring kept growing. So, that took us to Children's Hospital.
