Motorcycle Ride- local volunteers needed!

There will be a Bike Run to benefit Fallyn August 15, 2009 (for more information on the bike ride, check out our upcoming events page) Volunteers are needed to help before and during the bike run. We need people to help with various projects - signs, raffels, pass out flyers, etc. We've already lined up the Main Event Bar and Grill in Donegal and Z&M Harley Davidson for the run. We need to help her out with the rest. If you know anyone that would like to help, please CONTACT US... also, if you know any bikers who would like a really good time, let them know.

Help Make a Positive Change for EB Families: Support the Wound Care Bill

From the EB Action Network: "It is medically necessary for people with many forms of Epidermolysis Bullosa to bandage wounds and protect healthy skin from harm. Most of the time, these expenditures are not covered by insurance of any kind, and the outlay for one household can range up to 5,000 a month just for wound care supplies!"

EB Action Network is spearheading a campaign to raise support for a Wound Care Bill which would require insurance companies to cover these needed supplies.  For more information, or to sign the petition, please see the EB Action Network!
