Hello Fallyn!!! It's FALLYN! I don't know if you remember me or not but I was one of the Miss Teen USA girls to come and visit you while you were in minnesota! I was just wanting to check in with you to see how you are doing! I saw a butterfly the other day and it reminded me of you! It was raining that day and his wings had gotten wet in the rain and he was missing one leg so i picked him up (very carefully) and brought him home and he is now living in my house with me in a butterfly atrium. My email is fallyn_patterson22@hotmail.com. You can email me and I can send you pictures of him! He is dark Purple with yellow dots! I hope to hear from you soon and I wish you the best!! Keep smiling!!!
Peace and Love

Because they do not cause injury like 'regular' shoes. Lately she has been wearing 'Crocks" with fair success. They help protect the soles of her feet more than the slippers. They do however chafe her lower leg/ankle area where the leading edge rubs it. I have started the process of having some custom foot ware made for her. I will post pictures of them when she gets them.

Dear Fallyn,

I found this website by typing in my name on google.com, and i was looking at your story and it warms my heart to find that such a young girl can be so strong. I am 11 years old and you will always be in my prayers. tomorrow is my birthday and i will use some of my money from my birthday to help Fallyn. I know I live far away, in Louisiana, but I will still help. She sounds like such a wonderful girl. I will be keeping in touch with how Fallyn is doing.

lots of love,

Frank - I read your post on Kyle's guestbook and would love to have more dialog with you concerning Fallyn's experience. I am the Campaign Coordinator for Kyle's fundraising endeavors. Your blog indicates such positive possibilities for these RDEB kids! I, too, had inquired into the program at University of Columbia, basically due to the costs of that trial compared to the costs of this one, and would like to know more. I know that Kyle has complete faith in Dr Wagner and is determined to get the transplant. Fallyn is a brave young girl who has the rest of her life in front of her. How wonderful to know that her life may be one that is not lived in constant pain. Your next week sounds unbelievably busy and crazy. When things settle down, please email me at susan@cotaforkyleh.com. My best wishes for sunshine-filled days for Fallyn!

Hi Fallyn and family,

You don't know me but I was on the motorcycle benefit run that was held in your honor last week. We had a beautiful day to do the run, food was great and so were the people who attended. I am friends, since high school with your cousin Mike and Debbie Morgan in Export. I was very touched by your story and how brave of a little girl you are. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers and hopefully get to meet you one of these days soon.

Take Care and God Bless,

Melissa Lewis
